Account Manager Scandinavia (m/f/d)

As a European partner and part of Shurtape Technologies LLC, we are a supplier of adhesive tapes for the professional painting trade, DIY/retail and industry. We supply sales and distribution outlets throughout Europe and have been impressing our customers for over 55 years with our expert individual advice and excellent service. To expand our business in Scandinavia, we are looking for you, a talented, qualified and committed Account Manager in the Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden region.

What you will do with us:

  • Advising and supporting a defined customer base (wholesale & DIY) in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
  • Active expansion of the customer base through the acquisition of new customers and identification of potential customers.
  • Planning customer visits, including calendar maintenance and documentation in Outlook.
  • Establishing and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Presentation, marketing and sale of our product range, as well as the introduction of new products.
  • Implementation of POS measures and sales shelves
  • Conducting price and condition negotiations
  • Product range design for our customers, together with the customer and the internal sales team
  • Timely documentation of activities and customer visits in the CRM system
  • Proactive reporting on activities to the internal sales team and the line manager
  • Identification and participation in relevant trade fairs and implementation of training courses
  • Processing of complaints in cooperation with internal sales and application technology
  • Implementation of defined sales strategies and targets
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
  • Actively analysing the region in terms of turnover and margin, and initiating or proposing possible countermeasures to sales management
  • Close communication with our colleagues at our headquarters in Bocholt (Germany)

What sets you apart

  • You have successfully completed commercial training, a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience as a sales representative and bring the necessary passion to your daily work
  • You are customer- and solution-oriented and have creative ideas
  • You enjoy travelling and providing personal support to your customers in the region (including overnight stays if necessary).
  • You are characterised by a practical mindset, strong communication skills, process-oriented thinking and assertiveness.
  • You work independently, in a structured manner, responsibly and reliably.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English and ideally speak another foreign language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish). Knowledge of German is desirable but not essential.
